Wispstone (“the game”, “we”, “us”) is a puzzle game for iOS and Android, published by Revelar Solutions Private Limited, played alone or with a friend on a second phone. You can play without an account. This policy explains what the game collects, why, and how to delete it. We never sell your data.
1. Playing as a guest
Without an account your progress, coins, skins and settings are stored only on your phone. Nothing about your progress leaves the device. If you uninstall the game, that progress is gone.
2. Signing in with Apple or Google
Signing in is optional. It backs up your progress and is needed to play together. We receive a sign-in identifier and, if the provider shares it, your email address (Sign in with Apple lets you hide your real email). We store:
• your progress: rooms, stars, best times, daily streak, coins and the skins you own;
• the player name you choose, shown on the public leaderboard with your stars and best daily streak;
• replays of your best run in each room, so you can race them on a new phone.
3. Playing together
To connect two phones, a short-lived session holds the 6-character room code, the room being played and the two characters’ positions. It is deleted when the session ends.
Voice chat. You can talk to your partner. The microphone is off until you tap Talk, and it turns off again when you tap it, leave the room, or send the game to the background. Your voice goes directly between the two phones (peer-to-peer, encrypted by WebRTC). We do not record, store or listen to it, and it never passes through our servers. To connect the call, the two phones exchange network details (including IP addresses) through the short-lived session above; these are deleted with the session. You can mute your partner at any time with the Partner button. Only play together with people you know - the room code is the only way in.
4. Anonymous gameplay statistics
If “Anonymous stats” is on in Settings (it is by default), we record gameplay events such as rooms started, cleared, restarted and skipped, time taken, co-op sessions, errors, and basic device information (model, OS version, country, language). This tells us which rooms are too hard and what crashes. You can switch it off at any time in Settings → Privacy. Where the law requires consent (for example in the EEA and UK), statistics are sent without identifiers or storage unless you have agreed.
5. Ads
The free game shows ads through Google AdMob: optional rewarded videos you choose to watch, and occasional full-screen ads between rooms. Before any ad you are asked for consent where the law requires it, and on iPhone you are asked for tracking permission; if you decline, ads are not personalised. AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers and ad-interaction data; see how Google uses information from apps that use its services. You can review your choices at any time in Settings → Privacy → Privacy choices.
6. Purchases
You can buy Remove Ads, the Starter Pack and coin packs. Purchases are handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. We only learn which product was bought so the game can deliver it.
7. Who processes the data
• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Analytics, App Check): accounts, cloud save, the leaderboard, playing together, statistics, and protecting our servers from abuse.
• Google STUN servers: help the two phones find each other for voice chat (they see network addresses, never audio).
• Google AdMob: ads.
• Apple App Store / Google Play: purchases.
Data is stored on Google Cloud servers in the United States.
8. How long we keep it
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Co-op sessions are deleted when they end. Statistics are kept by Google Analytics for at most 14 months.
9. Deleting your data
In the game: Settings → Account → Delete. This immediately deletes your account, your cloud save, your replays and your leaderboard entry, and resets the progress on that phone.
You can also ask us to delete your account and all its data by emailing contact@revelarsolutions.com from the address you signed in with (or with your player name). We do it within 30 days.
10. Children
Wispstone is suitable for all ages and can be played fully as a guest, without any account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what is described here.
11. Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top; important changes are also announced in the game.
